Gaby
Geuter was a former travel agent living in Los Angeles. She became
interested in the workshops taught by Carlos Castaneda and wanted to be
part of his inner circle.
In
1996 she realized that she was being excluded and in an attempt to
discover the truth about the shamanic guru, she and her husband Greg Mamishian began
to secretly follow Castaneda when he finished his seminars, and thus
they managed to discover the hidden residence where Castaneda lived.
They
continued spying him and discovered that although Castaneda claimed
to live alone, he lived with two women: Florinda Donner and
Taisha Abelar, and Carol Tiggs visited them regularly. These three women
were Castaneda's personal disciples and were known to his followers as
the "witches."
Gaby
and Greg examined the trash that Castaneda and his witches threw away
and discovered that contrary to what Castaneda claimed about leading a
frugal life, he lived an opulent life and gave his witches
expensive gifts and designer clothes.
They also discovered that Castaneda was diabetic and was becoming increasingly ill.
FILMS
Gaby
and Greg also managed to film Castaneda and his witches on several
occasions, and in this video you can see several of those recordings:
THE END

finally, at the end of April 1998, Gaby and Greg discovered that
Castaneda's house was uninhabited and concluded that Castaneda had died
and the witches had left.

2004 Gaby published the book entitled "Filming Castaneda: The Hunt for
Magic and Reason" where they revealed the detective operation they had
carried out and the discoveries they had made.
