THE PAINTING ABOUT MASTER MORYA PAINTED BY NICHOLAS ROERICH

 
 
In 1931 Nicholas Roerich painted the following triptych, that is, a composition of three paintings, which is known as "Fiat Rex" (two Latin words meaning " Let him be king").
 
In the middle appears the master Morya, while on the left side appears a medieval knigh and on the right side appears a medieval maiden.
 
 
 
 
 
 
About this work a follower of the Roerichs commented the following:
 
«  The "Fiat Rex" triptych represents the ritual of returning the Stone to Shamballa. The energy balance is ensured by the presence of the male and female partner.
 
Nicholas carrying the sword is shown on the left with a sword, the tip of which points downwards, the pommel of the sword looks like a goblet of fire
 
Helena is shown on the right with a goblet from which a flame issues. The Chest no longer appears, the Stone has been placed in the Cup as in the representation of Melchizedek in Chartres. The Sword balances the Cup.
 
The three characters are descending into the depths by a stone stairway. In the center he appears as a King of the depths of the dark red rocks, Master Morya. In his hands the Mahatma holds a circle with a brilliant diamond, it is the crown of the Brotherhood.

 
 
 
Who is the glowing crown for?
 
The rays of light are like wings behind the back; around the head, there is a golden halo; Lilac and blue glowing aura, golden sparks pierce the darkness.
 
At the sides, two figures in medieval garb recall Count Ekkehard of Meissen and his wife Uta von Ballenstedt, who were an earlier incarnation of the Roerichs.

On the left a knight with sword and shield with the three circles that are painted on the medieval coffin, on the right a noblewoman holding the goblet of fire in her left hand. The pommel of the sword also looks like a cup of fire.

 
Nicholas-Ekkehard holds a shield and a sword in his hand, symbolizing the manifestation of an active principle and the defense of the achievements of the spirit. Nicholas Roerich was repeatedly referred to as the Master, a Warrior of the Spirit.
 
While the fire in the hands of Helena-Uta does not correspond so much to the traditional role of the guardian of the hearth, but indicates the guardian of the spiritual fire.
 
The cup and the sword appear in the novel Percevaus by Chrètien de Troyes active in the courts of Champagne and Flanders between 1160 and 1190, at the time of the Knights Templar. The Parsifal, Percevaus or Perceval, tells the story of the search for the Grail. A procession is narrated where the Grail is carried by a female character, a girl. The cup welcomes, receives and custody is feminine. The sword, on the other hand, is penetrating and combative/defensive, it is masculine. »
 
 
 
 
 
 
The rays that come out from master Morya
 

The esoteric instructors explained that when a human has his crown chakra highly activated, at a subtle level he emits an energetic light upwards, and that the angels also have energy rays that come out diagonally from their backs but the clairvoyants mistook for wings. .
