A few years
ago, a post appeared on Facebook from the International Theosophical History Conference
held in London in September 2016, with the following note:
«
A little
question for those who have been there before:
What is missing now that it was previously on the wall
in the living room of the London Theosophical Society?
And the
answer of course is: the portrait of Charles Webster Leadbeater. »
Blavatsky
Lodge in London took the deliberate decision to remove that portrait. I do not
know whether their reasons for doing so have been published, but it is good that more and more
lodges are becoming aware of how nefarious that individual was.
