HAVE COLONEL OLCOTT INVENTED HIS ENCOUNTERS WITH THE MASTERS?

After Blavatsky’s witness, Colonel Olcott is the main witness of the existence of the Transhimalayan Masters because he was the one who had the most encounters with the Masters Kuthumi and Morya.

And he also claimed to have had other contacts and encounters with several other Masters of different nationalities, including Master Hilarion and the own chief of this section: Chohan Serapis.

He was also present in many of the materializations of letters that the Masters wrote to several members of the Theosophical Society.

He was also witness of the encounter between Hindu Mulji Thackersey and Master Morya.

And Colonel Olcott also showed a turban assuring that it belongs to Master Morya and the Master had given it to him as a proof of his existence.

And when Blavatsky's detractors discover all this (because they usually did not know it), they claim that Colonel Olcott was an accomplice of Blavatsky and he lied to invent the existence of the Masters.

However, there are several arguments that make me doubt very much that this statement is true.

1. COLONEL OLCOTT WAS A VERY HONEST MAN

Colonel Olcott had his defects, but also he had his qualities, and the most one of remarkable was his integrity.

And that is why when he enlisted in the army, the government chose him to conduct an investigation into the frauds and corruption that were occurring in the New York Recruitment and Payment Office.

He was appointed Special Commissioner of the War Department and all the villains tried to stop him, but neither the bribes nor the threats could stop his investigation, and for four years he fought against the opposition and slander, until he arrested all the criminals.

The War Department expressed its recognition to Henry Olcott promoting him to the rank of colonel, and later the Department of the Navy solicited his services to eradicate the abuses that were committed in the shipyards. And with the same determination, Henry Olcott erased the corruption that reigned there.

And his work was so impeccable that the Secretary of the Navy wrote him a letter expressing his gratitude and admiration:

« I want to say that I have never met a gentleman who has entrusted with such important tasks, and he has demonstrated as much ability, speed and confidence as you Mr. Olcott.

And I want to praise your complete rectitude and integrity that have characterized your entire career, and to my knowledge, these qualities have never been in doubt

The fact that you have been able to escape like this, without any stain on your reputation, considering the audacity and power of many of these criminals that you have persecuted and punished, is a tribute that you can be very proud, since no man who has held a similar position and who has performed similar services in this country had achieved it before. » ⁽¹⁾

So, we can see that Colonel Olcott was a highly honest man. However, some of you may object that people can change over time, and that is true, but there are details that show me that Colonel Olcott continued to be a very honest person.

For example, at the annual convention of the Theosophical Society that took place in December 1894, when people asked to Coronel Olcott if he continues to maintain communication with the Masters, he answered to the audience that his communication with the Masters had ceased with the death of Blavatsky ⁽²⁾.

And this statement shows me that Colonel Olcott was still a very honest man because he could very easily have lied, since nobody could have proven otherwise, but he preferred to tell the truth although that diminishes his prestige.

2. THERE WERE OTHER WITNESSES

And in addition to Blavatsky and Colonel Olcott, there were also many other witnesses who claimed to have seen or had contact with the Masters:

And here I put the main ones, but there are still more witnesses.

3. THERE ARE OTHER EVIDENCES

And even if we considered the possibility that all these people were accomplices to invent the existence of the Masters (which seems very unlikely because we are talking about more than 40 witnesses). But even in that extreme case, there is a series of facts that make me consider that the most probably is that Transhimalayan Masters exist.
